- Hi, I?m Jeff, I am not just writing about my life, I am letting you know what I think about it so far… How not exciting. For a few years I have learned to love many things as I was growing up. In the beginning I basically loved everything about everything… like animals, people, trees, and all the other things out there that young children love to love.
- OK? I?m going to ask you to listen very carefully. I?m going to be real straight forward here and I don?t want you to think there is any underlying feelings here so take this word for word. - In doing so, Twain is setting the stage for Huck to be the hero of the novel. He does this for specific reasons. One of which is he draws us into the story more with each chapter so that the unexpected ending where Huck does not turn out to be the hero makes us question why Twain would employ such an ending.
- Ian Adelstein. That?s what the nurse typed on my birth certificate, as instructed by my parents on a somewhat chilly day in February of 1980. With a bit of arrogance, I might add that the Thirteenth of February will be remembered for this insignificant act when one day my name will join the ranks of other great men; Forbes, Gates, Bundy (did I say Bundy?), Howard.
- The entertainment provided in the restaurant during and after the buffet was delightful. A ten minute introduction to the Mexican culture was followed by an intriguing native dance, performed by a man dressed in an authentic looking costume consisting of only a rawhide G-string with a short apron front.
- While you have been aspiring to become a product of the enlightenment at the college of William and Mary, there has been much a fuss over England’s treatment of our great colony of Virginia. - “Mommy, I’ve killed God.” You wanted a scar; there it is, plain as day (no two-level, deep meanings attached). My scar isn’t external, nor, do I suppose, is it internal. Heck, I don’t know what it is but all my life I know it’s been my scar, my burden.

- We pulled into the gravel driveway a punctual half hour before our expected arrival. Great, I thought, an extra hour I would be waste at my grandparents’.
